Before she started working at the Federal Ministry of Social Affairs, Health, Care, and Consumer Protection, Julia studied Sports Science at the University of Vienna and Health Management and Public Health at FH Johanneum.
Specializing in the field of Occupational Health Management in her studies, she is aware that new ways of working bring some health challenges, which require new solutions to maintain the health and well-being of employees. As a sports scientist, she is aware of the great importance of health promotion and prevention to avoid long-term health consequences. Her interest in studying Digital Health Care now lies in finding digital ways to make healthcare processes more efficient and teach health literacy to empower patients to engage in improving their health.
