Having a medical background, Jessica has a strong demonstrated history of working in higher education, industry, and innovation. She is skilled in Prevention and Disease Management, Digitalization of Healthcare, Ecosystem Building and Entrepreneurship, Coaching, and Public Speaking. She recently finished her Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Medical Informatics focused on Geographic Information Systems for Health.

Working as a research associate at the European Campus Rottal-Inn from the Deggendorf Institute of Technology, she attempts to bring the Innovation “mindset” to the students and understand the different approaches in Health Information Technologies and its applications. She has successfully twice co-organized the Startup Europe Week in Pfarrkirchen. At present, she is lecturing in the Master of Medical Informatics, Bachelor of Health Informatics and, the Bachelor of International Tourism Management / Health & Medical Tourism study programs from the same institution.

Her main interest is Healthcare Innovation and its expansion to Primary Healthcare, Disruption of Medical education through innovation-oriented curricula and, creating awareness of health information technologies in Medicine.
