After finishing his bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2019, Tobias Doeringer started working in outpatient physiotherapy practice for neurological patients and got his first touches with robot-assisted therapy and therapy with virtual and augmented reality. Since 2020 he is additionally working in the study program in physiotherapy at the Technical University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim as a teaching assistant and in the laboratory of therapeutic sciences. In addition to that, in 2021 he also started working as a study assistant in the research project MobilE-PHY2 which is trying to optimize the outpatient therapy for patients with vertigo.
With a master’s degree in Digital Healthcare, Tobias wants to get more insights into developing and evaluating new technologies for improving the healthcare sector. Especially robotics and augmented and virtual reality belong to his areas of interest.
